Milestone: Smoke & Fire Detection Plugin Installation

This page describes the step-by-step process for installing the VEZHA Smoke & Fire Detection Plugin.

Introduction

To initiate the plugin installation:

  1. Navigate to the Installation Files section in the Partners Portal
  2. Select the Milestone XProtect VMS Plugins block
  3. Download the Milestone Smoke & Fire Detection Plugin file

Installation

Execute the Incoresoft-VEZHA-SmokeAndFireDetection.exe file by double-clicking it.

Select the desired language and click the Ok button:

Review the setup information and click the Next button to proceed:

Click the Browse button to select a folder for installation, and then proceed by clicking the Next button:

The plugin should be installed in the Milestone folder alongside other plugins.

Fill in the following fields and then proceed by clicking the Next button:

  • Enter the IncoreSoft VEZHA Middleware Core server address in the Host field. If installed on the current PC, use "localhost".
  • Enter the Milestone Management Server address in the Milestone Server Address field. If installed on the current PC, use "localhost".

Click the Install button and wait patiently until the installation process is completed:

Click the Finish button to close the setup window:

The plugin installation is now complete.
